Take a few minutes each day to center yourself on Christ.
A Small Group is a co-learning community where you can examine your experiences, perceptions, and big questions about life and following Jesus. Participants in these groups commit to meet consistently to study a topic of common interest, a sermon series, or a spiritual practice. The setting is ideal for going deep—in relationship and content—as you wrestle with hard truths and expand your understanding of God and the world.
Highrock Cambrige Small Groups meet weekly and will carry on and continue the week of 01/10. This does not mean you cannot join throughout the year. Even if you have never attended Highrock, we invite you to jump in if a group or topic interests you. Our campus has small groups in-person and indoors, which will require a mask, but outdoors and part-online. Highrock Online has small groups online, a list can be found here. This Winter 2022, we will have five small groups to choose from:
LeLe (email@example.com) | Mondays @ 7:30pm in Central Cambridge: this group will likely study scripture from the book of Acts and fidn ways to see God in the new, first church. Currently meeting indoors with masks.
Xing-Yin + Arthur (firstname.lastname@example.org) | Wednesdays @ 8:15pm in North Cambridge: this group is taking a deeper dive into scripture from the sermon series. Currently meeting outdoors around a firepit
Kathy + Derrick (email@example.com) | Thursdays @ 7:00pm in Central Cambridge: this group desires to be prayerful and embrace transitions while living life together. Currently meeting virtual, but has meet indoors with masks.
Elisabeth + Ethan (firstname.lastname@example.org) | Thursdays @ 7:00pm in Somerville: this group will focus on building a strong relational community, based in scripture and exploring justice in the world. Currently meeting indoors with masks.

Considering leading a Small Group? Maybe you are rearing to go, or maybe you feel called to lead, but ill-equipped to do so. Present and future facilitators are invited to attend a Virtual Small Group Facilitator Orientation where you will learn that leading it isn’t about having the right answers but rather about having a posture of listening and curiosity. Group dynamics, expectations, and navigating difficult situations will be covered too! This orientation is given over Zoom a few times during the year, though the materials can also be used by an individual outside of a formal group session.
Highrock has developed several Small Group sermon series companions and study guides on various books of the Bible.
