We all have our ideas about God. Often they have something to do with God being all-powerful or all-knowing, or perhaps judgmental or stern. But what about a God who is forgetful? Who is open to persuasion? Who likes “losers” and even became one himself? Those aren't typically the first things that come to mind when we wonder what God is like. But God actually demonstrates these very things in relating to people. And when we understand these aspects of God's character, we can begin to follow God even more faithfully and joyfully! This summer, we hope you join us as we explore seven things about God that might surprise you, and how this new understanding can lead us to greater freedom and life.
