On February 6, 2023 a 7.8-magnitude earthquake, with its epicenter in Gaziantep, Turkey, has become one of the deadliest natural disasters of the century. There were many aftershocks following the earthquake, and impacting Turkey's neighbor Syria. As of February 10, 2023 the death toll has risen to over 22,000. There are many ways to help---

Lincoln Public Middle School Student Council and the Turkish Consulate in Boston are collecting donations.

FAQs

• All items will be placed on Turkish Airlines direct flight to Istanbul within a day of collection (February 17). After transport, all items are brought to the nearest functioning airport to be delivered directly into the disaster zone. No funds are needed to help with transporting these goods.
