The American evangelical movement has deeply impacted both the church and American society. But how should we relate to it today? This year, the Theology Lab online discussion group will explore this question in order to better understand our unique place in Christianity. Each session will feature live conversations between pairs of guest speakers who are influential in contemporary evangelical discussions. We’ll listen, engage, and learn from their responses to pressing questions of our time in the areas of theology, politics, race relations, the role of the church today, and more. Join us for a series of “family conversations” that don’t shy away from big questions, but approach them with a posture of mutual respect, curiosity, and Christ-centered solidarity. Evangelicalism — let’s talk about it!

Series Schedule

This online small group meets on three Sundays this fall, September 25th, October 23rd, and November 13th, and continues into the winter/spring of 2023 with meetings on January 22nd, February 19th, March 12th, April 23rd, and May 7th. You may attend any session without attending the others. Please register to receive the Zoom link and any supporting materials.
